Removal and installation of a brake hose

Follow the rules of the treatment of brake fluid described in the Section Removal of Air from the brake system.


Pipelines of the brake system carry out contact of the main brake cylinder with four wheel cylinders. Communication between rigid and mobile parts of the brake system, for example, between supports is carried out by flexible hoses of high pressure. In the presence of visible damages the last have to be replaced.

Do not allow contact of brake hoses with oil or fuel, do not paint them and do not cover with means for protection of the bottom of the car against corrosion.

If one of cameras of the tank of brake fluid (for example, with leakage in the brake system is completely emptied or if during removal of air forgot to add liquid in the tank), in system air which gets to the pump ABS is sucked in. Air from the brake system in this case has to be removed on HUNDRED with use of the special device.


Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Suck away the syringe brake fluid from the tank.
2. Mark with paint the provision of wheels concerning naves. It will allow to establish at assembly the balanced wheels in their former situation. Weaken bolts of fastening of a wheel before a car poddomkrachivaniye. Lift the car, put it on supports and remove wheels.

Lifting operation and installations of the car on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before carrying out operation study Poddomkrachivaniye's Section and towage of Introduction to the management.

First operation. Disconnect a brake hose from the pipeline.

3. Turn out a hollow bolt (1) and disconnect the brake pipeline (2) from a hose.

The brake hose at the same time should not be twisted.

4. Remove a bracket (3) and take out a hose from the holder.
5. At once close the brake pipeline and a hose traffic jams.

At a vskryvaniye of a brake contour brake fluid follows. Merge it in a bottle which has to be intended only for these purposes. It is previously possible to suck away liquid from the tank by means of the special device.

6. Brake of a forward wheel: Take out a brake hose from the holder on a depreciation rack.
Second operation. Turn out a brake hose from a support.

7. Turn out a brake hose (1) from a support (2).

Brake fluid follows from a connecting opening of a support. Observe precautionary measures.


Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Establish the hoses recommended by manufacturer.

1. Fix a brake hose in a support by the moment of 18 Nanometers.
2. Brake of a forward wheel: Stretch a hose through the holder on a depreciation rack.
3. Fix a hose in holders and insert into a lock bracket. Screw a hollow bolt of the brake pipeline in a connecting element of a hose and fix by the moment 14 Nanometers.

Do not allow twisting of a brake hose.

4. Removal of air from the brake system address appropriate section.
5. After removal of air from the brake system fill the tank with liquid to the mark MAX and screw a cover.
6. Establish into place wheels so that the marks put at removal coincided. Previously grease with a thin layer of bearing lubricant the aligning wheel disk belt on a nave. Do not grease bolts of fastening of wheels. Replace rusty bolts. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment of 110 Nanometers.

The brake hose at full turn of a steering wheel to the right and to the left, and also at rise and lowering of the car on shock-absorbers should not concern any elements of a suspension bracket. At any road situation the hose has to be at sufficient distance from adjacent designs.

Carry out reliability control:

· Whether brake hoses are fixed?
· Whether the brake hose is fixed in the holder?
· Whether unions for removal of air are tightened?
· Whether enough brake fluid is filled in?
· On the working engine check tightness. For this purpose press a brake pedal by effort of 200 - 300 N (20 – 30 kg) during 10 pages. The pedal should not weaken. Check all accessions for tightness.
7. Check operation of the brake system on the road with not heavy traffic. For this purpose it is necessary to carry out, at least, one strong braking with ABS action use (it is felt on a brake pedal pulsation).
