Removal and installation of the check point

For removal of the check point it is necessary to lift the car as it is possible above. Removal of the check point demands existence of certain experience. Therefore here the description only of basic provisions focused on the skilled mechanic is provided.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative cable (-) of the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. It is previously necessary to remove a box of the filter of air of salon.

Before a detachment of a cable find out a protective code of the radio receiver if that is available, address the Section Replacement of the Rechargeable Battery.

2. Isolate for safety reasons the plug of the cable going to a negative pole of the rechargeable battery to exclude thus casual contact with battery poles.
3. Lift the car and remove the lower facing, address the Section Removal and installation of a cover of a motive compartment from the bottom.

Raise the check point around a back support of the engine/check point by means of a garage jack and wooden laying a little.

Only after that disconnect a back beam of the engine/check point.
4. Bring a support under the check point in the form of a garage jack and wooden laying.

5. Remove a back beam of the engine/check point (1) for what turn off bolts of fastening (2) and (3).

6. Disconnect the holder of a cover of a motive compartment (4).
7. Disconnect the holder of system of release (5).
8. Remove a reception pipe (5).
9. Disconnect the back muffler at a suspension bracket around the additional muffler, lower it a little and enshrine it in this provision by a wire.
10. Turn off from below a weight strip between the check point and a body.
11. Remove a starter, address the Section Removal and installation of a starter.
12. Disunite the socket of the inductive sensor of a speedometer.
13. Remove the driveshaft, address appropriate section.

The forward flange of the driveshaft remains on the driveshaft, but not at the check point.

14. Uncover draft of gear shifting at the check point and disconnect draft from the check point.
15. Disconnect from the central block, previously having removed a lock finger.
16. Disconnect draft of switching.
17. Disconnect the check point from the block of cylinders.
18. Slowly lower the garage elevator, at the same time the check point falls a little. Remove horizontally the check point from the directing pins back and take out from coupling.
19. Lower the check point.

Lower the check point only then, the main shaft of a box left a clutch plate, otherwise the clutch plate can be damaged.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Before installation check coupling, address the Section Removal, installation and check of coupling.
2. Check ease of the course of the bearing of switching off of coupling. If before removal at switching off of coupling noise of the bearing of switching off of coupling was heard, replace the bearing.

At engines with a two-mass flywheel shlitsevy connection of a clutch plate has a covering nickel. Therefore the main shaft of the check point does not need to be greased. A clutch plate sign for a two-mass flywheel is lack of damping springs.

3. Engines without two-mass flywheel: Clear shlitsevy connection of a main shaft and grease with a thin layer of MoS2-lubricant, for example, of MOLYKOTE BR 2. You do not apply too much lubricant, otherwise lubricant can get on the frictional surfaces of coupling that will result in malfunctions in coupling work. The necessary amount of lubricant corresponds to the size of corn grain.
4. Raise the check point and enter horizontally into coupling. If at installation the main shaft of the check point is not fixed in a clutch plate, turn a shaft a hand behind for a flange for the driveshaft.
5. Fix the check point on the engine by the moment of 40 Nanometers.
6. Establish a starter, address the Section Removal and installation of a starter.
7. Connect draft of switching, previously having greased with a thin layer a spherical support.
8. Connect to the central block and fix it a lock finger.
9. Connect draft of switching to the check point, establish a cover.
10. Connect flanges of the driveshaft and the check point. The moments of an inhaling of the self-stopped driveshaft flange nuts to the check point are given in Specifications.
11. Join the socket of the inductive sensor of a speedometer.
12. Fix a back support of the engine/check point by the moments specified in Specifications.
13. Fix a weight cable to the check point and a body.
14. Fix the holder for a cover of a motive compartment (4).
15. Fix the holder of a reception pipe (5) of system of release.
16. Install into place system of release, address the Section Removal, installation of system of release and check of tightness.
17. Check oil level in the check point, if necessary add oil, address the Head Routine maintenance.
18. Check gear shifting adjustment, if necessary adjust on HUNDRED.
19. Establish the lower facing of a motive compartment.
20. Lower the car on wheels.
21. Attach a negative cable (-) to the rechargeable battery at the switched-off ignition. Establish into place a box of the filter of air of salon. Enter a code of the radio receiver and determine time on hours.
